Our goal is to have fun, and what’s more fun that activities? Pack Meetings on held on one Thursday a month, often the first Thursday. Den Meetings for same-age groups are usually held on Thursdays as well, but schedules may vary slightly. The number of times each den (made up of kids in the same grade) meet depends on their grade.
If you’d like to visit a Pack or den meeting, please contact Cubmaster Mike McCormick at firstname.lastname@example.org and he’ll let you know what is coming up!
Our Pack schedule is now hosted on the Band app!
Each month features a Pack Meeting with all the Cubs, as well as 1-4 den meetings with a Cub’s age level group, depending on the age and the month.
We have campouts each October, May, June, and August. Hopefully returning for 2023 after two years of COVID shutdowns, we are looking to have a camp-in between January and March at a local museum!
We also have the traditional fun Cub activities – The Pinewood Derby and the Blue & Gold!
Learning to help those around you is an important part of Cub Scouts. Each year, we make cards for veterans, participate in a food drive for the GIFT Food Pantry in Berlin, make stockings for the YES Children’s Home (for kids waiting foster placements), have trash pickups, place flags in Berlin Cemetery for Memorial Day, and help with a flag retirement.
We do not have regular Pack or Den Meetings in the Summer, but instead have an array of activities organized by different families, ranging from hikes to mini-golf to wiffleball to t-shirt making!
