Cub Scout Pack 48 – Berlin, NJ

After a week delay due to the rain, our first hike of the summer was at Black Run Preserve! Snowy egrets and blue herons, but mostly lots of early blueberries!

Our next Pack Hike will be in July at Blueberry Hill in Gibbsboro!

The fish were really biting tonight, must have been some good worms! Thank you to Mr. Pannu for hosting us again this year!

It’s been an exciting year and we’ve learned and did a lot, but now it’s time to move up to the next level! Congrats to all our Cubs on a great year!

Our summer schedule starts next week with fishing night!

Thank you to Harold and Dambly’s Garden Center in West Berlin for hosting our Lions and Tigers and teaching them about plants and where our food comes from!

For Memorial Day, we helped the Scouts and the Berlin VFW place over 1000 flags on veterans’ graves in Berlin Cemetery!

Tonight, Pack 48 practiced reading a map, went on a map scavenger hunt to find our small Cub friends, and did an obstacle course. Good night!

April Den Meetings! Last week, our dens had a lot to go! Our youngest worked with codes, our Wolves explored the world of fossils, and our Bears and Webelos put together Easter eggs for For the Love of Pete’s Pantry. Good night!

Pack hike at Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge today! Always a great outing. We learned about lots of plants along the hiking trail, then had Scout Nathan lead the Cubs through the animal areas. Great day!

March Pack Meeting – Hiking! We practiced what to bring on our hike, Leave No Trace, took a four senses hike (no tasting!), and played some games!
